Burnside Park Bowness on Windermere Luxury Self Catering Cottages & Apartments

What is included in the rental price?

All linen and towels including dish cloths and tea towels
Washing up liquid and dishwasher tablets where dishwasher fitted
Toilet roll and kitchen roll
 Bookings made via 3rd party have the pass for the off-site Health Club at an extra cost, however this pass is complimentary for direct bookings.


What is not included in the price?

Towels for the swimming pool
Telephone calls & any other sundries

Can I bring a pet?

Pets are permitted only in the owner cottages/apartments by prior arrangement at a cost of £50 up to 2 dogs. Please take note that pets are not allowed on the furniture or in the bedrooms, and cannot be left in the units on their own. 

Where can I park?

All owners or Hapimag members have one car parking space allocated to them free of charge. Additional car parking spaces are available at an extra cost of £3.00 per day, booking advisable as very limited. Please note that we cannot except camper vans, caravans or large vans due to very limited visitor spaces available.

Rental guests pay for their parking.

What are the reception opening times?

Mon-Fri 8.30 am until 6.00pm
Sat 8.30 am until 7.30 pm
Sun 9.00 am until 5.00pm

What time can I check in?

The guaranteed check in time is 5.00pm, but you are welcome to arrive anytime and if your accommodation is ready by 4.00pm then you will be given access, if not you can either make use of our guest lounge with TV or coffee machine at reception.

What time is check-out?

Check out is prior to 10.00am. A charge will be payable for late checkout.

What happens if I arrive after the office is closed?

If you arrive out of office hours, your key will be left in the digital keybox outside reception. Please contact us to get your code.

Are there disabled facilities?

We have only a few apartments that are ground floor and wheelchair accessible. The premier apartments have a wet room, but no specific disabled rooms. Please contact the reception team for more information

Are the cottages heated?

All cottages have an electric heating system.

What appliances are in the cottages/apartments?

All properties have a TV, DVD player, CD player, hairdryer, radio alarm clock, iron and ironing board. The kitchens have an oven, hob, microwave, fridge with ice box, dishwasher where fitted. The units with partial kitchen do not have an oven or dishwasher. 

Do you provide cots?

We can provide a child pack for £15, which includes cot and linen, high chair and stair barrier.

Are there laundry facilities in the cottages?

None of the cottages/apartments have laundry facilities, but we do have a guest laundry on site which is coin operated and soap powder can be purchased in reception.
