For those unwilling to compromise on high quality accommodation and who enjoy the freedom that self-catering holidays provide, Burnside Park, in the Lake District village of Bowness on Windermere provides a no compromise solution offering a range of luxury self catering cottages and self catering apartments.

Our self catering apartments in the Lake District sleep up to 6 persons with each unit furnished and equipped to luxurious standards, for example Nespresso coffee machines are provided in each apartment. Fresh bed linen and fluffy towels are of course provided as standard. The only extras you have to pay is for telephone calls on departure.

Self-catering apartments are grouped below into those sleeping up to 2, 4 & 6 persons, the layouts of apartments differ slightly and all apartments with the same layout are listed together (eg: apartments 15 & 16 are both the same layout sleeping up to 6).

Burnside Park is located just a short stroll from the centre of Bowness-on-Windermere, where food supplies can be purchased from specialist shops and a supermarkets.

If you don't feel like cooking, why not sample some of the many pubs, restaurants and cafes which offer a range of cuisine, from traditional fish and chips, to Mediterranean and Eastern dishes.
