Burnside Park self-catering holiday accommodation is ideally located overlooking the picturesque village of Bowness-on-Windermere, right in the heart of the Lake District. Most visitors who use the accommodation travel by car, however, Windermere railway station is under 2 miles from the resort and there are numerous taxi companies able to provide transport from Windermere to the resort.
- If travelling from the south, leave M6 Motorway at Junction 36.
- Keep to Left hand lane and follow A590 to Kendal.
- Continue along the A590 (which becomes the A591) for several miles.
- At roundabout take first exit onto B5284 (Crook Road) signed Hawkshead via Ferry.
- At the end of the B5284 turn right onto B5074 Kendal Road signed Windermere. Follow this for about 0.5 miles and Burnside Park Self Catering Resort is on the left hand side opposite Brackenfield
- Reception for accommodation is located in the white building, immediately in front of the entrance
